🎄 Christmas Charity Outreach – Ogun State 🎄

On the 20th of December, 2025, members of Because His Name Is Mercy Family Foundation – Ogun State Region held their annual Christmas Charity Outreach in Magboro, Ogun State. This year, the focus was to provide cash gifts to struggling families within the community.
🙏 The outreach began with the 7:00 a.m. Holy Mass at St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Church, Magboro.
After Mass, members went for confession — a moment of spiritual preparation that set the tone for the day.
In total, 11 members came out united in love and compassion.
⛪ The Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. John Gbenupo Hezekiah, offered encouragement, guidance, and stood with us throughout the outreach.
He also assisted in preparations and thoughtfully provided chilled table water for the team.
We first met three beneficiaries within the church premises, listened to their stories, and presented the cash gifts.
We then visited the homes of the remaining beneficiaries. Each visit carried its own story, emotional struggle, and moment of grace.
💝 In total, 11 struggling families received ₦20,000 each.
The gratitude encountered was overwhelming — many were moved to tears.
“God has decided to remember me. Now, I can celebrate Christmas with joy.”
These words came from an elderly widow battling illness. Another widow lifted heartfelt prayers for the entire BHNIM family. In those moments, it felt as though we were the ones receiving the greater gift.
Though the journey was long and tiring, it was deeply fulfilling. The smiles, tears of joy, and renewed hope reminded us why we serve. It was truly love in action.
🙏 On Sunday, 21st December, 2025, members returned to the same parish for a Thanksgiving Mass, thanking God for a successful outreach and committing the entire BHNIM family into His hands for 2026.
