Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while ensuring that all food safety and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages to customers with precision and care.
• Operate theSquare POS system for order processing and cash handling efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies.
• Engage with customers to provide an enjoyable experience, answering questions about menu items and making recommendations.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
• Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies as needed and reporting shortages to management.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or retail is preferred but not required.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques is a plus.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
• Experience with POS systems, particularly Square POS, is advantageous.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with customers.
• The right person for this role is a proven people-person, taking pride in giving amazing service experiences
• A friendly and enthusiastic team player with a passion for excellent customer service; you’re always ready to make your customers’ day
• Food Handlers Certificate not required, but preferred.
